The call of W1CGS was originally issued to the Coast Guard Station in Connecticut. If anyone has any history of the station I would appreciate an email so I can gather some info for a page of the call's history, and the stations history. To view what I have so far, click on the call above. My original call was WB1DRW which was issued to me in the mid seventies while I was working in Worcester, MA. My elmer Franny Moy W1SPG successfully wrestled me away from the clutches of C.B. Over the years I became very accustomed to the original call, the call that never ends, (wb1drwb1drwb1drw...) but when the vanity program allowed me to get my initials (something I had wanted since first licensed) I went for them spring of '98.

Due to their popularity, the HF and VHF Band Plan Charts now have a direct link from the front page.
UPDATE, new band plans with the extended voice privileges are available!

Well someone has grabbed my email address and is spamming the heck out of it.
I'm sorry about that happening but there isn't anything I can do.
I DO NOT send ANY mail FROM w1cgs.com.
You can block that address!
Please visit here often, but don't blame me for the junk mail.
I have no part of it and am doing all I can to prevent it.
